Special water paint designed for the elastomeric encapsulation for cement-asbestos, in order to prevent the spread of airborne fibres. Its strong biocide action neutralizes and prevents the growth of plant efflorescence, such as molds and fungi, which greatly accentuate the deterioration of the surfaces in cement-asbestos. It also offers considerable resistance to atmospheric agents and UV rays. Applicable after a specific primer – ELIOGUM PRIMER – develops a synergistic action of reconsolidation of the cement matrix, regenerating the strong mechanical resistance offered by its fibre.
The product is certified by the Giordano Institute (TEST REPORT No 271 699) in accordance with the applicable European regulations and to the Decree of the Ministry of Health August 20, 1999 concerning the extension of rules and technical methods for remediation.
